About Kim
I have been giving garden and planning advice for decades and made a life change to do it professionally. I have degrees in Landscape Architecture and Visual Arts. I received 'Best in Houzz 2013' from Houzz.com and I am an award recipient on a 4 member team project at SF Flower and Garden Show 2011, winning a Gold Medal and the CLCA awards. I am also a co-winner of the 2011 San Jose City Guadalupe Courtyard Garden design contest, installed Spring 2012. Both projects are in the gallery.
I have been collecting plants since childhood, grew up tending the family rural landscape along with the vegetable gardens and fruit orchards, and have a passion for sustainable design. In my 'free' time I enjoy being with my family, gardening, camping, reading, watching movies, yoga, watching my son's soccer and attending my daughter's music concerts.
